Mix the Plaster

1. Take the plastic strip and loop it together to form a circle.
Place the circle over the center of the hole in the mold. Push it down gently while turning it
back and forth. You want to sink it about 1/8” into the firm goop.
Fill the zip lock bag with warm water to the measured line. Empty (1) bag of plaster into the
water and zip the bag tight. Shake the bag and knead the plaster for 60 seconds until it is the
consistency of heavy cream. (Photo)

2. Pour the plaster into the mold until it is almost to the top of the plastic circle. (See Photo)
Lightly tap on container while plaster is wet to help release any air bubbles. Let it set for 25
minutes until the plaster hardens. Read a book. Practice your pitch. Clean your room.
(Plaster is hard when you can scratch a line in the plaster with your fingernail)

3. Run the tongue depressor around the inside of the container and molding goop. Tip the
container upside down and tap lightly to release the mold from the container. Oh Gross!

4. Get ready, here comes the big finish. Carefully peel
away the mold goop from your plaster hand. Be gentle, as the fingers will be a little soft. They
will firm up as the water evaporates. Remove the plastic ring. Lightly wipe off and Owow! You’
ve got a baseball in-hand.

Owow! This is awesome! You’re a winner!
